Mid-West Metal Products offers high quality electrostatic powder coating services providing automatic and manual applications that can be applied with a wide range of coatings, from epoxy and hybrids, to polyurethane and thermoplastic. We also work with formulations that can provide specific properties such as anti-microbial and U.V., abrasion, chemical, chip and graffiti resistance. We have up to 60 stock colors in-house (all formulations), including metallics, but can leverage our technology, experience and skill sets to precisely and accurately match any color. Substrates include aluminum, magnesium, galvanized, mild, and stainless steel, which we diligently prepare for the coating process through burn-off, degreasing, sand blasting and stripping.

Our equipment and facilities can handle parts weighing up to 200 lbs and measuring up to 16′ long and 6′ tall. We readily quote on a per-job basis and provide rush services in addition to quick turnaround times.

Because we work with industries such as aluminum die-casting, stamping houses, HVAC, appliance, automotive, bedding, marine and more, we can offer a wide variety of testing techniques. For example, we’ll carefully perform film thickness, reserve and direct impact, cross-hatch, tensile and M.E.K. rub cure tests to confirm that coatings will meet and even exceed expectations. Mid-West also offers special masking, drop shipping, and labeling from our EDI-enabled, 150,000 sq. ft. warehouse.
